Wonder if other tracks would act on this

This is a message to any and all of the motocross community at this time of crisis the country is currently in.

As from today, if we see anyone acting irresponsible for theirs or a loved ones well being by going out riding during this lockdown then you will not be welcome at our facility and face a lifetime ban.

This goes for all practice and race meetings

We will act on this as motorsport is dangerous at all times, it would only take one mistake that could cause injury resulting in being admitted into hospital. If this was to happen your at direct risk of COVID-19, this puts your family at risk as well as adding strain onto the NHS.

DONT BE IRRISPONSABLE

STAY HOME

STAY SAFE

We will lift this once government lift lockdown.

Great call guys. Off we all stay of our bikes, it’s not the worry of spreading it but it’s the worry of falling off and injuring yourself. Then think of the problem, having to go to hospital and risk spreading it, adding further stress onto the nhs. Just because you can’t be bothered to stay off your bike for the safety and well being of others.

I understand the dangers of the sport as a rider and road rider. Can’t say I ever want to be back in hospital for any reason. Having been a cyclist and a runner I also know that this has its own dangers. Think the threat of life time bans is a bit harsh. Most people who want to achieve in this sport do other training to get fitter. But the government says go out on public roads running and cycling.

last time I checked we still lived in a free country , some people have their own land/gardens/farms on which they are entitled to do as they please or take whatever form of exercise is relevant to themselves. while I agree with the above to a degree and their right to impose draconian measures which are the fruit of their own feelings on the subject, they have no real right to tell anyone else how they should view the same situation. the fact they own the track gives them the ability to ban whoever they choose but it doesn't make them right. what next van farmers in quads or anyone else that may injure themselves? you stand as much chance as joggers do of turning an ankle or falling do we van them as well in case they need treatment?

Not a wise couse of words as so many people are at home doing DIY and still having accidents,, can you say you have stayed at home for 2 weeks and done nothing

just something else to ponder on, I race enduros and stay bike fit by riding , I have access to forestry which is owned by friends if I go out and ride and get a couple hours exercise in a Forrest where there is no one to catch or give a virus to, why should I not be allowed when joggers are running round local Parcs and jogging routes passing and coming into contact with others or are cycling on roads where they could easily catch a grid or whatever and go down and injure themselves? I have 20 years riding so am more than capable of going at a pace and on terrain where I'm not risking injury any more than they seasoned cyclist is. why should anyone have the right to tell me I'm a wrong in for doing so. some people need to get some perspective and view this situation a bit more objevtively, that includes government ministers . knee jerk reactions although well intentioned are not usually well thought out

This is a free country And we free people I CHOOSE not to ride, however who the fuck are you to DICTATE what people can and can't do' and who the fuck are you to decide what the threshold levels of dangerous activity actually is.

I could trip and fall (because I’m clumsy as hell) and end up in the hospital well before my 5 year old son would possibly wreck and be in as well....why punish these kids for riding??? My son hasn’t been anywhere he wasn’t supposed to but like today ...70 degrees and sunny. He is riding in my back yard. Not putting anyone else in danger but yes he risks injury just the same as getting in a car and driving to the store to get toilet paper and milk 🤷🏼‍♀️ I appreciate the protectiveness of riders but our track is still riding just not racing and using extreme precautions as far as signing in and being near others. For 4 weeks now ...no one has become sick from our track. To each track their own so shutting down during this time or whatever you feel the need to do ...fine. But I don’t feel punishing children who ride somewhere else is appropriate. Just my opinion.

Well done guys well said

Well done 👍

Well said guys 🙏🏼👍🏽

How the ban list coming along ,, it going to big and you'll never have any pro rider at your track from that post

So I'm not allowed to ride my track in my garden?

👌👏

Ben Roberts

Jordan Andrews what you make to this?

👌🏻👌🏻

Hayleigh Smith

If a race meeting is on I guarantee it will be full with a waiting list and if a race meeting is on that would mean the government has lifted their guide lines and would be safe to go racing wouldn't it ? 🤔

Dont be a dick. Just tow the line for the period asked and this has the best chance of correcting quickly and life returning to normal. Entertain yourself and family at home. If you become infected and transmit to someone who does not have good health you may have effectively given someone a death sentence. Bitch and whine about that after its happened but you wont be able to take it back. Just demonstrate self control for a short period then go back to doing as we all want.

Does this mean I’m banned

This post is very hypercritical I think are you banning yourself 😂 lmao🤪

that should say ban was on predictive
