Dear Mid Sussex Members,

I hope you are all well and staying safe.
I am sorry to say this but unfortunately the club will not be running any events this year due to the restrictions that have been put in place by not only the ACU but also the local authorities.
This is disappointing for the club as well as yourselves. I know this is a frustrating time for everyone and we all want to get back to the sport we love, but please bear in mind nothing is "normal" at the moment and the Government/ACU and the local council guidelines are not making life easy especially for the Mid Sussex committee that is run on so few volunteers.

I would like to say "Thank you" to all the Mid Sussex members for bearing with us during these difficult times.

**Please remember all memberships will be carried over to next season**
We are looking forward to seeing you all in 2021 at Mid Sussex.

I’m been with mid Sussex for many years myself and my husband have been On thr committee at some stage the lack of communication from committee to members has been very poor we have raced with 3 other clubs in thr last couple of months and all has run smoothly I do think an emergency meeting should be the way forward and let the members have a say on how there club is run as the way its going there womt be a club next year as a lot of ppl ain’t happy and they will go elsewhere no club needs to lose members

Why don’t people just respect the club’s decision, bunch of twats

Very disappointing considering other ACU clubs are putting on events for the members. I’m wondering what are the extreme restrictions that are being put on Mid Sussex that are different to these other ACU clubs.

Ok well I don’t want to race next year so will be asking for a refund of membership as don’t want to carry over to 21 then. How do I go about that then??

Portsmouth not running anything to date... Just how it is... Too many restrictions to police on the day... Others that are running events are not policing or enforcing the safety measures correctly so maybe it's just easier to wait until the restrictions are less and then it's much easier to manage running a meeting... It not like there nowhere to go riding 🥂👍

Regarding memberships being carried over to 2021, I would prefer a refund

Gonna need jet ski now bad weather on way Dave Parker

How is the gest club already run 2 rounds and now running a two dayer 😂 and there a ACU club , and I’ve race an Mx National there two days as well , all runs smooth as 🤷🏼‍♂️

1 way to kill a club gest are running and so are other clubs Jason from gest was working day and night to get us out there mid Sussex obviously can’t be bothered to put the work in for there members. The restrictions ain’t that bad

East Kent are now running 6 th September . 🌟

We would like to Thank all of the Mid Sussex Members for their continued support throughout this unusual time.

Please understand that these decisions have not been taken lightly.

Firstly, I would like to confirm that there will be NO championship/Compass Cup or Presentation this season.

All memberships from this season will be carried over to next season, more information on this will be released later in the year.

The committee has not forgotten you, we have been working hard to see if we can get you all back racing safely, this will not be easy so please give us some time to try to sort out some practice/fun days later in the season.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we will update you when we have more information.

Any chance of running a practice day for members?

Why has the club not started any form of racing yet when other clubs have ??

If you’d like full COVID-19 medical support and planing for your season and a return to sport that we are doing with other motorsport championships, I’d be more than happy to have a chat. We are regulated and approved to provide full medical and ambulance teams along with COVID-19 provisions and we are already back at events authorised by
