Iron Works situated in Middlesbrough is a great hardpack circuit to practice on with lots of flowing table tops and rutted turns. A bit of elevation really adds to the lay out, going up and down small hills. The track is longer and wider than most tracks, which makes for plenty of different variations of lines to do. The jumps are safe but reasonably sized which makes them fun for everybody to ride. There is woodchip mixed into the soil, so the track can deal with moisture better than most hardpack tracks, and rides best when it’s had a bit of rain so there are plenty of ruts to get low in the turns.
Facilities
Food van, kids track, jet washers
Opening Times
Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00-16:00
Conditions
